Farm Story:

Mr.Tarakegn Gotu is a 3rd generation of coffee farmers from Tulise, Idido, Yirgacheffee. He

started working with LetSequoia as single farmers project since 2016 and It was not easy at the

beginning to work as single farmers because they used to pick the cherries and dry and supplied

the dried cherry to the local collectors. However, working with LetSequoia as Single farmers was

not only able to help them best price among all the coffee producers in Idido area but he could

concentrate to work for the highest quality. To be a single farmer required a lot of work because

its not only they have to pick the best ripped cherries but also have to take care from farm to

deliver the coffee to the Addis warehouse which take almost one month of transportation.

Because Tarraken wants to promote his coffee and make his children to be better than they, he

really want to work hard to get the best quality

- Process Story details: They picked the red ripped cherries which has more then 16

sugar brix then they dried very carefully in the African bed and mixing during days at

least 10 times and avoiding direct sun after noon to keep the quality.
